No. EveryFirst has no sign-in of any kind. It works fully offline; if you have iCloud on your device, your data also syncs privately across your own devices.

I got a new phone. How do I move my data over?
Sign in to the same Apple Account and make sure iCloud is on. Your babies, milestones, and growth entries sync through your own iCloud private database and appear once syncing finishes. You don't have to export and import anything, and there is no account to restore — though Settings → Export All Data and Import Data can move everything by hand if you prefer.
What does the free version include, and what needs EveryFirst Pro?
The free version records unlimited milestones for one baby, with one keepsake card template. EveryFirst Pro unlocks the Growth tab (logging weight, height and head circumference against WHO percentile curves), every card template with watermark removed, tracking for more than one baby, sharing a baby with your partner (accepting a share is free), and exporting the whole timeline as a PDF, timeline image, or spreadsheet. Pro comes as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase; the yearly plan starts with a free trial, and prices are shown in the app.
How do I share a baby with my partner?
Go to Settings → Sharing. With one baby you land straight on its sharing page; with several you pick one first. Tap Invite Partner and iOS takes over with its own sharing sheet — add your partner by their Apple Account email, then send the invitation. They open the link on their device and the baby appears in their app. iCloud sync has to be on for any of this; if it's off, the row says so and points you at the iCloud settings.
Does my partner need to buy Pro too?
No. Starting a share needs Pro, accepting one is free. Share the ordinary way and your partner can record milestones, edit them, and add photos and videos without paying anything; share as view only and they see everything and change nothing. A baby shared with them doesn't count against the one-baby limit of the free version either.
Can I let someone look without letting them change anything?
Yes. When iOS opens its sharing sheet, set the permission to view only before you send the invitation — that is the setting for grandparents or a sitter. They get the baby, the timeline and the photos, and every way of recording or editing is closed on their side. They can still leave the share whenever they like, and you can change the permission later from the same sheet.
What happens if we stop sharing?
Either side can end it. If you started the share, Stop Sharing removes it from your partner's devices; every record stays on yours. If a partner shared with you, Leave takes that baby off your device and leaves your own babies untouched. Only the person who started the share can delete the baby itself — a partner never can.
How do the reminders work?
When your baby reaches the age at which one of the built-in milestones usually happens, EveryFirst sends one reminder that morning — one per milestone, never repeated. It also marks the days worth remembering: every month of the first year, the hundredth day, birthdays, and the anniversary of a first you saved a photo or video for, a year or more ago. The Reminders switch in Settings controls the notifications; the day's memories appear at the top of the timeline either way. All of it is worked out on your device, from records already there, and nothing is sent anywhere.
I don't have iCloud, or it's turned off — will I lose my data?
No. EveryFirst always stores your data locally on your device first. iCloud only adds sync across your own devices; without it, everything still works, it just stays on this one device.
How do I get my data out of the app?
Go to Settings → Export All Data. EveryFirst builds a .zip containing a JSON file with all your records plus the photos and videos you attached, which you can save or share anywhere. Settings → Import Data reads that same file back.
Are the growth charts medical advice?
No. They plot your entries against WHO reference percentiles for context only. For anything about your child's health or development, please talk to your pediatrician.
